Episode III, Chapter 6: Darth Vader

In this level you’ll need a Jedi and an Astromech.

First Time

This level is unlike the others, since Obi-Wan and Anakin are working together, but still fighting each other. It’s a little strange, but fun. Right from the start, you’re thrown into an area where you’re trying not to fall in the lava. Don’t stand too long on the ground without jumping, and don’t get too far behind because you’ll probably get stuck. Right before you reach the end, turn left and get the first Canister of the level.

As you enter the second area, you’ll be given thirty seconds before the entire area collapses. You can extend the time period by Forcing the fallen beams  in the center of the room. If you head to the very back of the room, you’ll find a Canister surrounded by tons of studs. From here, head up and to the left and smash the yellow brick barrier for another Canister. Walk toward the screen from here and use the Force to turn the handle to get another Canister. Now walk toward the screen again and use the Force on the two handles to the left of the Astromech panel. A Canister will appear above. To get to the third area, go to the right and use the Force to move the yellow beams away from the door, then work with the other character to Force the door open.

You should see the next Canister easily as you enter the third area, and one more Canister in your path as you work through the level. Smash the two canisters and step on the buttons to lower a platform and jump across. Now work with your partner to Force the two yellow handles, and then put the red ones onto the wall. Stepping on the next platform will automatically transport you to the fourth area.

Three Canisters can be found in this area, but only two are currently accessible: one Canister on the left side of the room, while jumping across the stones, and one Canister on the right side. Your main goal, though, is to make it to the huge pillar at the center. Once there, climb up as far as you can without falling and wait for the pillar to topple, acting as a bridge for you to reach the rock where you’ll have your final battle.

Whatever character you were working with a few moments ago is now your enemy, and it’s up to you to destroy them. Both of you will have ten hearts for this battle, so make them count. The easiest way to do this is to use the jump-jump-attack combo, which will likely allow you to win with a few hearts to spare.

Free Play

The only collectible in this area that can only be earned in free play mode is the Power Brick – Dark Side, found in the second area by activating the Astromech panel on the left side of the room.

The other collectible that can be earned in free play mode is the final Canister of the game in the fourth area. Jump across the rocks to the large pillar in the center, then use an Astromech or a character with a jetpack to hover out to the rock that is inaccessible from any other way. From there, jump onto the large rock to collect the Canister.

Challenge

In Challenge mode, the level plays as usual, but you must collect ten blue Canisters before your time limit of ten minutes runs out. The level will end as soon as you collect the final Canister. These are not found in the same areas as the white Canisters of regular gameplay, but are as follows:

  1. The first Canister is right behind you as soon as you start the level.
  2. Go to the very back of the second area. (Same place as an in-game Canister.)
  3. Destroy the yellow brick barrier near the previous Canister. (Same place as an in-game Canister.)
  4. Use an Astromech to activate the panel on the left side of this room.
  5. It’ll be right next to you as you enter the third area.
  6. After stepping on the buttons to reveal the platform, the Canister will appear on top.
  7. In the fourth area, it’ll be at the right end of the last platform before you step onto the rocks.
  8. While stepping on the rocks, head to the left onto the larger platform.
  9. While stepping on the rocks, head to the right and it should be pretty easily spotted. (Same place as an in-game Canister.)
  10. Jump up on the pillar and use this height advantage to hover onto a previously inaccessible rock. Jump from here to a large rock. (Same place as an in-game Canister.)

Congratulations, you’ve finished Episode III: Revenge of the Sith!

Episode III, Chapter 5: Ruin of the Jedi

In this level you’ll need a Jedi, Sith, Bounty Hunter, Protocol Droid, Imperial, and High Jumper.

First Time

From where you start, go straight back to the Canister. Now destroy the Clones and head to the right, toward the stairs. Use the Force on the doors and go through to the second area.

Kill the Clones, then Force the red stairs and head up. Go around and drop down, then head down the stairs and to the left to find a Canister hovering. Then head into the nearby room and Force all of the chairs on top of each other, then climb up to reach a Canister. Go back up the stairs and to the right, Force the red pillars, and open the door.

There are lots of Clones that will attack you here, so be careful. Go the whole way down to the main room and into each of the halls, Forcing the platforms to allow you up and then pulling the handles. One of the halls has a force field around the handle, but all you have to do is Force out another set of platforms and jump to the button above it to release it. Once all three handles are pulled, the door will be cleared, and you can enter the final area.

Once again, destroy all of the Clones as you enter, then the only thing left to do in the level will be to use the Force on the little slot on the right side.

Free Play

On your way to the right, Force the pieces in the hole on the ground to stack them and reach a Canister. Go past the stairs, destroy the object to the farthest right, and grapple up. Jump to the ledge around the door to find a big window, and have a Sith use the Force on it. Then, have a Bounty Hunter use a thermal detonator on the pieces and put them together to get the Canister.

Use an Imperial on the panel in the second area to enter a secret room. The Canister is floating in the middle of the room.

In the third area, the Canister in the hall that is directly on your right side as you enter must be high jumped to from the top platform. Once the door is unobstructed, high jump to the platform on the arm that previously blocked it. High jump from here to the left, and twice more to reach the end of the balcony. Use an Astromech or Bounty Hunter that can hover and fly to the other side of the force field to reach the Canister. Use the Protocol Droid panel to lower the force fields on all of the halls. From here, Force out the platforms and pull the handles as you did on the opposite side, but this time using a high jumper or grappler. Once all of the levers have been pulled, high jump back onto the arm and around the balcony, and then to the platform that has just lowered to reach the Power Brick – Deflect Bolts.

As you enter the final area, the Canister will be visible behind a force field. To reach it, start by having a Bounty Hunter throw a thermal detonator onto the left grated button. Then, use a Sith to Force the grate off of the opposite button. Stand on the buttons together, which reveals a stack of shiny objects. Use a thermal detonator on them, then build and pull the handle.

Challenge

In Challenge mode, the level plays as usual, but you must collect ten blue Canisters before your time limit of ten minutes runs out. The level will end as soon as you collect the final Canister. These are not found in the same areas as the white Canisters of regular gameplay, but are as follows:

  1. This one should be visible right ahead as soon as you enter the level.
  2. Go as far to the right as you can, and you should see it almost immediately.
  3. Destroy the object on the ground to the right to reveal a grappling point. Grapple up, follow the edge, and jump to the ledge around the door. The Canister is directly in front of the window.
  4. In the second area, go straight and then to the left. The Canister is hidden behind the huge sphere.
  5. Use an Imperial on the panel to get into the secret room. Go forward and to the left to find the Canister hidden in a corner.
  6. Go down the stairs, and the Canister is right behind the second chair on the left.
  7. In the third area, go past one set of halls and into the left of the next one, then grapple up to the Canister.
  8. After pulling the three handles and clearing the door, high jump onto the arm that was previously blocking it, and from there to the left to a balcony. Jump one more time to another balcony for a Canister.
  9. From the previous Canister, continue jumping left until you reach the end, then use a character that can hover to get to the other side of the force field. Use a Protocol Droid to disable the force fields, then go two hallways down. Force the platforms out, then use a high jumper to reach the top and get the Canister.
  10. In the final area, go forward and to the left, in the corner.

Episode III, Chapter 4: Defense of Kashyyyk

In this level you’ll need a Grappler, Bounty Hunter, High Jumper, and Sith.

First Time

Use Yoda and Force the two square-ish objects on either side of the raised bridge to lower it. Follow the path around the tree to where all of the Clones wait. Their cue to attack comes in, and you’ll have to get rid of all of them. Then, go to the raised bridge and lower it like you did before and you’ll see that three Wookiees have been captured. From this point, Clones will be attacking sporadically throughout the area. To reach the first Wookiee, use Chewbacca to grapple up and across a few times. Once you reach the area where you can’t jump without falling, shoot the Clones from where you are. Jump down and go down the other bridge path to reach a junction with three paths. If you go to the left side, there are no Wookiees to be saved, but you can get a Canister from grappling up. Go to the right side and Force the object on the ground to make a grappling point, which you can now use to save another Wookiee. Go down the middle path and then to the left, and step on the buttons to lower the bridge. Go down the right path to enter the next area.

You’ll be battling your way through nonstop enemies, so just try to do what you need to do without stopping to attack everyone. My advice would be to get an AT-XT, either by building the one on the ground or stealing it from one of the Clones. This will help you get to where you need to go without getting shot at by everyone, but it’ll slow you down a little. There is a Canister you can get in this area by pulling three carrots out of the ground, which just really look like the other plants in this area. One is on the far right side, to the right of the huge boulder, mostly hidden by some grass; one is toward the middle around a set of rocks; and one is on the far left side, in between two giant rocks along the left wall. The Canister will appear high above on a platform, but you’ll be going up there soon anyway. Use Yoda to Force the bridge together, then Force a plant on the ground to reveal a grappling point for Chewbacca. Grapple up and shoot the two targets to lower the bridge, then go through to the next area.

Nonstop droids will be coming after you, so fight your way to the back corner and take care of the Droid Commander on the ledge on the right. You’ll also find a Canister on this ledge. There’s another Commander on the ledge on the left. Now go back down and take care of the rest of the droids, and then go through the hole in the rock wall between the two ledges.

Fight your way through the droids and Clones to get further down the path. Eventually you’ll reach a slanted area made of stone. Force the plants in the right corner to reveal some platforms, and climb up. Be careful going up this path, because rocks will be rolling down toward you. Use Yoda for this, since he can Force the rocks to destroy them if needed. Keep going up, but use Chewbacca on the grappling point on the second slope for a Canister. Drop back down and continue going up, then Force the stairs together once you reach the end and step on the buttons. Destroy the droids and Clones here while Forcing the four corners around the hole on the ground. Then destroy each of them to make a little ship raise out of the ground. Force it to open it, and go inside to finish the level.

Free Play

Right at the beginning, after lowering the bridge, take a right onto a bridge instead of going straight around the tree. Use a Sith character and use the Force on the generator here, then use a Bounty Hunter to throw a thermal detonator and make it explode. The Power Brick – Super Thermal Detonator will be left behind. Go to the platform where you save the first Wookiee, then use an Astromech or Bounty Hunter with a jetpack to hover across. Keep grappling across until you reach the last one, then high jump to the left to reach a Canister.

Use a high jumper to reach the Canister that’s visible on top of a rock on the right side. Go to the big tree and high jump to the lowest platform, then the next platform up. Switch to an Astromech/Bounty Hunter with a jetpack to hover across and reach the Canister.

After getting rid of the droids, use the Force on the ship on the ground. Once it can’t be Forced any more, quickly jump on top of it and high jump to the Canister above it before it lowers back to the ground.

Make your way to the back, where you’ll find a black plant that glows red. Have a Sith use the Force on it, then grapple up and use an Astromech/Bounty Hunter with a jetpack to hover across to the right side for a Canister. At the very end, before opening the little ship, jump on top of it and use a high jumper to reach a Canister.

Challenge

In Challenge mode, the level plays as usual, but you must collect ten blue Canisters before your time limit of ten minutes runs out. The level will end as soon as you collect the final Canister. These are not found in the same areas as the white Canisters of regular gameplay, but are as follows:

  1. After lowering the bridge at the very beginning of the level, head down the path and go right. The Canister is behind the generator.
  2. Where the Clones start attacking, you should be able to see a Canister behind the Clone commander.
  3. On the ledge on the tree where you save the first Wookiee, use an Astromech/Bounty Hunter with a jetpack to hover to the left.
  4. At the junction where you can go left, right, or forward, go to the left and grapple up to the platform.
  5. In the second area, jump down and go into the water. You should see a sort of vehicle on fire, with the Canister right next to it.
  6. Go to the far left wall, and the Canister will be between two large rocks.
  7. In the third area, the Canister is right behind the droid commander on the left side.
  8. In the final area, go forward and to the right behind the tree.
  9. Climb into the AT-XT and go to the part with the rocks. In the left corner are three elevated rocks with a flat top, and one has the Canister sitting on it. Jump from the AT-XT to the rock.
  10. Go past the AT-XT and behind the rock.

Episode III, Chapter 3: General Grievous

In this level you’ll need a Jedi, Grappler, High Jumper, Astromech, and Bounty Hunter.

First Time

This entire level is a battle with General Grievous. After costing him one heart at the beginning, he’ll jump to a ledge on the left. You should be able to see one Canister from here, on the lower ledge that can be easily jumped to, even using Commander Cody. Use Commander Cody to shoot the canisters on either side of Grievous and he’ll jump back. Cost him two more hearts and he’ll find a higher hiding place, more to the right than the previous one. Force the bricks on the ground to make a bridge to the ledge Grievous first jumped to. Jump up to the next ledge, and you can Force the bricks here to reach a Canister. Jump or grapple up to the next ledge, Force the bricks into a platform, and use Commander Cody to jump and shoot from here. You can go back down and continue your battle with Grievous, or you can Force the bricks into stairs and reach the ledge Grievous was just standing on. Jump down from here and destroy the brick cover on the wall to uncover another Canister in an alcove. Go back down to the center platform and get Grievous down to three hearts, then go after him again. Destroy the breakable-looking wall on the ledge where Grievous hid from you last time, then Force the canister out of the way and onto the opposite ledge, and a Canister will appear in the hole. Shoot the canister to cost Grievous another heart. Jump down from the ledge where you are now and follow the little ramp down to a grappling point and Canister. Now go to the middle platform and attack Grievous two more times to end the level.

Free Play

Jump onto the ledge that Grievous first jumps to, and go as far to the left as possible. Use a Bounty Hunter with a jetpack or an Astromech to hover even farther to the left to reach another ledge. Use a Bounty Hunter to destroy the wall here with a thermal detonator. Jump across to the next ledge. There is a Canister on the ledge above this. On the ledge where Grievous jumps the second time you battle him in the center platform, there is a Canister that can be reached by using a high jumper. After causing Grievous to jump back for a third time, you’ll be able to see a Canister on the ledge where he just stood. Use an Astromech or a Bounty Hunter with a jetpack to hover across and get it. Keep going around this wall and drop down for another Canister. Follow the path here to find a hidden building. Make all of the bombs on the ground explode for a Canister. This area is also where you’ll find the Power Brick – Super Jedi Slam, if you Force each handle on the center console.

Challenge

In Challenge mode, the level plays as usual, but you must collect ten blue Canisters before your time limit of ten minutes runs out. The level will end as soon as you collect the final Canister. These are not found in the same areas as the white Canisters of regular gameplay, but are as follows:

  1. Right on the center platform, there is a Canister to the right.
  2. From the middle of the center platform, go forward to a ledge that is easily reached. (Same place as an in-game Canister.)
  3. Hover to the far left and use a Bounty Hunter to destroy the wall with a thermal detonator. (Same place as an in-game Canister.)
  4. After getting Grievous to jump up to the higher ledge, go to the ledge he was previously standing on. There is a Canister just sitting here.
  5. Force the bricks into stairs and go up to the second ledge Grievous jumps to, and the Canister is in plain sight.
  6. Go across this ledge and jump down on the other side.
  7. After getting Grievous to jump back a third time, use an Astromech or Bounty Hunter with a jetpack to hover to his previous hiding spot. Go around the ledge to get a Canister.
  8. Drop down from here and go across the bridge path.
  9. Inside the hidden building, there is a Canister by the wall if you go around counter-clockwise.
  10. Inside the hidden building, use the Force to pull down all of the handles of the center console and a Canister will appear in the middle. (Same place as the in-game Power Brick.)

Episode III, Chapter 2: Chancellor in Peril

In this level you’ll need a Jedi, Astromech, High Jumper, Protocol Droid, Grappling Character, and Bounty Hunter.

First Time

You can mess around a bit if you want, since there are a couple of ways to get coins here, or you can head straight down the hall toward General Grievous. He’ll send six droids after you once he escapes, so get rid of them. Then, when you’re ready to leave, Force the door open and exit through the doorway.

A few droids will come after you as soon as you enter the area, so be careful. There are four droids and two Super Battle Droids waiting for you when you drop down at the end of the hall. Force the pieces from the walls to make some steps and climb up, where you’ll encounter three droids. You can head to the left for a Droideka guarding a generator that spills out coins. Force one of the yellow grates and go through the tunnel to enter the third area.

After destroying the droids and Droidekas that appear once you enter, you’ll get R2-D2 for the rest of the level. Use him to open the door on the left for a Canister. Have him open the door on the far right and Force out the box, then use the Force to destroy it and enter the fourth area.

Get rid of those two annoying droids that start shooting as you enter, then head to the left for an easy Canister. Go right, jump up, Force down the grate, then pull the handle to reach the higher level. Destroy the Droideka up here, then use R2-D2 to open the door and go into the fifth area.

Here you’ll have a quick battle with Count Dooku. Unlike most other boss battles, you won’t automatically be forced into another area after defeating him, so you can battle him and then take a look around here. Alternatively, you could probably take a look around the lower level once he’s down to four hearts and waiting up top, though there’s not much down there. The strategy for the battle is the “jump-jump-attack” combo, then having your partner character attack whenever he electrocutes you. Once you go after him when he goes up the stairs, some Super Battle Droids will be after you, too, which you can take care of once Dooku’s down to two hearts and he jumps back down to the lower level. Once you defeat him, a door up top will open, where you’ll find a Canister in the door on the right, next to the Protocol Droid panel.

The next area is the most difficult: don’t let the dropping elevator touch you, keep running, and don’t go over a hole. Failing to follow these will surely kill you. Don’t worry too much about getting the coins right now; at the end you’ll be able to go back for whatever you miss. The best strategy here is not to weave around the holes, but to stay pressed to one wall; the holes are never directly against a wall. Once you reach the end, use R2-D2 to activate the panel and force the elevator backward again. Now, you can go back for any coins, or you can go through the door.

Go down the hall and around the ledge until you reach the area with the gas and turn the knob. When you reach the next area with the gas, use R2-D2 to go through and turn it off using the panel. Now, destroy the gray rectangle in the back to make a ramp for R2-D2. There’s also a Canister found here if you destroy the contraption ahead. Have R2-D2 activate the panel to reach the final area.

Defeat Grievous’s bodyguards, then head down to the control room and get rid of the droids. There are also two Canisters here, on either side of the entrance. Then, along with your partner, Force down the blue handles to end the level.

Free Play

In the first area, go to the right corner and grapple up to reach a Canister.

In the second area, head down the little hallway and use the grappling point to reach another Canister.

Use a Protocol Droid to open the panel in the third area for a Canister.

Use a High Jumper to reach the Canister in the fourth area, above you as soon as you enter.

Activate the panel in the fifth area to force the elevator back, then use a Bounty Hunter on the third hole back, where you’ll see some shiny blue objects. Use a thermal detonator here, then drop down for the Power Brick – Super Astromech.

Challenge

In Challenge mode, the level plays as usual, but you must collect ten blue Canisters before your time limit of ten minutes runs out. The level will end as soon as you collect the final Canister. These are not found in the same areas as the white Canisters of regular gameplay, but are as follows:

  1. Go back to Anakin’s ship (the yellow one). The Canister is to the right of it.
  2. Use the grappling point to reach the upper ledge and go all the way to the left.
  3. Head to the Droideka that guards the generator in the second area, destroy it, then go back behind the generator.
  4. In the third area, after defeating the droids and Droidekas, open the third panel using a Protocol Droid.
  5. Go to the far left as you enter the fourth area. (Same place as an in-game canister.)
  6. Go to the far right as you enter the fourth area.
  7. In the fifth area, go to the back left corner and jump on top of the cylinder that shoots out of the floor.
  8. In the fifth area, go to the upper level and into the room on the right.
  9. In the second-to-last area, where you have to get past the gas jets, this is right before the first jet.
  10. In the final area, go to the room at the end of the hall. The Canister toward the back left corner.

Episode III, Chapter 1: Battle Over Coruscant

Since this level doesn’t have an actual distinction between your first time and any other time on free play, other than the freedom to choose your own vehicle, I’ll be combining the “first time” and “free play” sections into one. This level is fairly easy to figure out, so the guide is mostly collectibles.

First Time/Free Play:

My advice for every level with vehicles: never stop shooting. It’ll definitely help out, not only with enemies, but with gaining Canisters. Also, be careful with your controls, because the up and down buttons are flip-flopped. That being said, your first Canister is in the bottom right corner after you cruise for a few seconds and then go into a nosedive. Not long after, you’ll turn, putting another Canister directly in front of you. The next Canister will appear soon after you destroy the ship in front of you with the red circles. Then you’ll pass under a cruiser, with a Canister near the top of the screen. After coming out from underneath the cruiser, you should spot one Canister floating in the middle of space. Opposite to one of the previous Canisters, this time you’ll fly overtop of a cruiser with a Canister floating near the bottom of the screen. Not far ahead, you’ll have to destroy a tower with two red circles similar to the cruiser earlier. After passing it, you’ll start flying downward, into the path of another Canister. Shoot the red circles on the next cruiser to open the gate and fly through. There is an obvious Canister on the left side inside of the cruiser. After this, you’ll fly in between two cruisers, but keep your eyes open for the Power Brick – Vehicle Smart Bomb floating near the bottom left corner of the screen. You should also find another Canister a little while later, near the left-center. The final Canister is found after turning a little, near the ship you pass under. Shoot the two red circles on the ship you’re coming up on, then fly through the opening to complete the level.

Challenge

In Challenge mode, the level plays as usual, but you must collect ten blue Canisters before your time limit of ten minutes runs out. The level will end as soon as you collect the final Canister. These are not found in the same areas as the white Canisters of regular gameplay, but are as follows:

**These ones are a little tougher to get, since they can only be collected by flying into them instead of just shooting them.

  1. As soon as you enter the level, you’ll probably fly right into it.
  2. This one is right above the ship you pass over, right before you have to shoot the red circles on the cruiser.
  3. Right after you destroy the cruiser and pass over a ship, this one is floating right in front of you.
  4. This one is underneath the cruiser you fly underneath, on the left side right before you turn and get out from under the cruiser.
  5. This Canister is just floating in space, and fairly easy to spot.
  6. You’ll pass over two more cruisers now. This is over the second one, near the bottom of the screen and the top of the cruiser.
  7. This one will become visible in the bottom right corner after you destroy the tower.
  8. After shooting the two red buttons and briefly flying through the ship, this Canister will be on the right side near the exit.
  9. This one is floating near the left side of the screen after you pass under the cruiser.
  10. The last Canister is on the left side, while you’re turning into the part where you shoot the two buttons and fly through the final ship.
