All Non-Story Hub Collectibles (Character Tokens/Vehicle Tokens, Gold Bricks, Photos) – Arranged by Location (WORK IN PROGRESS)

The open-world layout of Lego Marvel Super Heroes allows you to explore locations around New York City and on the Helicarrier outside of actual levels. The following is a guide to all of the collectibles found during free-roam mode, aside from Stan Lee In Peril (which can be found here), arranged by the location where they are found. I’ve also added the icons on the map that some locations that aren’t marked are near.

Ant-Man’s Lab

This mission will only be available after you’ve unlocked the Britmobile. Grab a small vehicle (I used Stark’s Motorcycle) from the Helicarrier pad outside of Ant-Man’s Lab, then speak with Captain Britain. He’ll challenge you to a race with some narrow passageways and sharp turns, but for the most part, it is still fairly easy to beat him. Finishing the race before Captain Britain will earn you the character token for Psylocke.

You’ll find a blonde man who needs your help near the lab. Follow the stud trail to a building and either fly up or climb up to the balcony. Use a character with super senses to find a shield switch, then use Captain America to activate it and open the door. Destroy the vending machine and pick up the mug, then head back to the man for a Gold Brick.

Fly to the roof of the building nearby and destroy the spiderwebs. Use a large character to smash through the wall and get the vehicle token for Spider-copter.

Melt the padlock on the door and go inside for a Gold Brick.

Outside of the shop, charge the generators with electricity. Inside there will be a Gold Brick.

Around the corner from the previous collectible will be a woman who wants you to drive her to her destination. Do so, and you’ll earn the character token for Electro (Ultimate).

On the roof of the lab building, use Ant-Man to crawl through the maze. Be sure to press the buttons to disable the barriers. At the end of the maze, you’ll get the character token for Wasp.

Avengers’ Mansion

This one will undoubtedly take a few tries. In the yard of the Avengers’ Mansion, use a character with a heat attack (one of the Iron Man marks, Cyclops, Galactus, etc) to destroy all of the black pipes around the character token. You’ll have to do it within a very small time limit, so don’t get frustrated if you don’t get them all right away. When you do get them, your reward will be a token for Archangel.

On the street near the mansion, speak to the woman and she’ll ask you to drive her in a taxi to Grand Central Station. Follow the map indicator in the taxi and, once you arrive, you’ll get a Gold Brick for your efforts.

Cross to the sushi restaurant at the other side of the street from the Avengers’ Mansion to enter Washington Heights.

Baxter Building

Near the Times Square Off icon, fly up to the balcony on a skyscraper with a big Fantastic Four logo. Use Magneto to flip the switch on the left and grab the token for Wizard on the right.

Go to the park and use a large character to smash the wall behind the ivy. Then use a hacking character on the device and fly over to the vehicle token for the News Helicopter.

After completing the race with the Silver Surfer and the man with the baguette quest in Little Italy, talk to the Silver Surfer near the Baxter Building and follow his instructions for a Gold Brick.

Brooklyn Bridge

After unlocking Deadpool as a character, race him on the Brooklyn Bridge for the token for Deadpool’s Scooter.

Central Park

Near the icon for Doctor in the House is Central Park. It’s signified by a large circus tent.

You’ll find Gambit in the ring near the tent. Use a telepathic character to find the ball three times (center, left, right) for the Black Bolt character token.

Use a character with a heat ability to bust open the golden lock for the Viper character token.

A glitch in this one has caused a lot of confusion on its exact location: in Central Park, destroy the two gold statues with heat and the two silver statues with explosives for a Gold Brick. This will open a secret room underneath the statues (walk along the grass surrounding them, destroying the bushes and such until you find the entrance) with a silver and gold wall inside. Destroy these, then use a character with electricity to charge the generators behind the walls, along with the one on the ceiling, for the Ronan the Accuser character token.

Talk to Groot in Central Park, then kill the moles within thirty seconds for the Flower Car vehicle token.

You’ll find the Stark Jet token in the middle of the pond in Central Park.

After getting Black Bolt and Groot, travel to Central Park and talk to Gambit once more. Grab his card from the large bush to the left of the path you are led to, then return it to him for the Gambit character token.

Talk to the old lady in Central Park and charge the generator, then shoot each of the ducks for a Gold Brick.

Talk to the old man by the circus tent and he’ll send you to find his monkey. He’s in a tree; all you have to do is shoot the branch he’s on. Bring him back for a Gold Brick.

After completing the previous quest with the monkey, the trainer will ask for your help again, as he has lost other animals now. This time, you’ll get to ride each animal back to him; a gorilla, a lion, and an elephant. You’ll get a Gold Brick for this.

In Central Park, go to the lake and race the boats. It’s very slow, but very easy, and doing so will earn you a Gold Brick.

At the other place in Central Park with the boats, run into and destroy all of the yellow boats for a Gold Brick.

Step on the orange button and shoot all of the targets for a Gold Brick.

Talk to the woman in the corner of Central Park and defeat the Sandman Goons for a Gold Brick.

Clear away the bushes, then use Ant-Man to shrink down and go through the maze for a Gold Brick.

There is a somewhat difficult race in Central Park that will earn you a Gold Brick. My advice would be to use the Helicarrier call-in point not far from Central Park and get a bike, because some of the paths are very narrow and hard to maneuver.

On top of the fountain near the circus tent is the vehicle token for the Fantasticar.

At the long monument in Central Park, use a character with super senses to find the digging spot and dig. This will cause a trail of studs to lead you to more dig spots, and eventually, you will earn a Gold Brick.

Just outside of Central Park, fly up to the roof and pull the handle. Step on the orange platforms in the order they appear, then go back up to the roof for a Gold Brick.

At the next building over from the previous one, use a telekinetic character to clean the window for a Gold Brick.

Columbus Circle

A shining indication will show you to a boss fight in this area. Step onto it to begin. Start by shooting the enemy’s silver chest plate with explosives, then use a heat attack on the gold plate underneath. After this, use a large character to pick up a rock and throw it at the damaged part on the enemy for the character token Mini Sentinel.

Daily Bugle

The Daily Bugle building is marked by a trumpet icon on your map. At the door, J. Jonah Jameson is waiting to send you on some missions. There are ten missions in total, so you can earn 10 Gold Bricks simply by traveling and taking a photo. After following the trail to the general location of the photo on your map, you can use Spider-Man to switch to Peter Parker in the same way you can switch from the Hulk to Bruce Banner. Take a photo at the designated area, then head back to the boss and give him the photo. Speak to him again for another mission. The locations are as follows:

  • Fly to the roof of the brown building near the Marvel Comics building and take a photo from on top of the vent.
  • You’ll be led off the coast of the Raft, above the water. Hovering above the water will be a small platform where you can take a picture.
  • Next he wants a photo of Stark Tower, so fly to a nearby building and stand on the small platform.
  • On the top of a tower near the Baxter Building, you’ll find another platform from which you can take your photo.
  • This one will take you very close to the Bifrosty Reception icon, on another roof.
  • Near the X-Mansion, you’ll find this one on the roof of a building in Washington Heights.
  • This one is pretty simple: go to the skate park in Yorkville.
  • Travel to the coast by the icon for That Sinking Feeling and take a photo of the Statue of Liberty.
  • Similar to the one near the Raft, this one is located on a platform in the middle of the water, off the coast from the X-Mansion.
  • The last one is found near the Rapturous Rise icon on your map. Once again, you’re up on the roof of another brown building.

Dockyard

There are some dig spots near the indicated area, both in the open and underneath some plants. Use a digging character on them until you find the orange button and step on it. Then, use Magneto to open the device and hop up to the Squirrel Girl character token.

After completing the bonus mission Stunt Show Surprise, meet Ghost Rider at the Dockyard to start a race. It’s a bit windy, but not very difficult to beat him. Finishing the race ahead of Ghost Rider will earn you the character token for Spider-Man (F.F.).

Head up the construction area to find some boxes to smash through with a large character. Use a character with super senses to find the box and get a Gold Brick.

East Village

Near the icon for Taking Liberties, you’ll find a shop with a grappling point on the door. Pull it down, go inside, use a character with super senses, then pull the lever for the Black Cat character token.

After getting the Pepper Potts and Rescue character tokens, you can earn the Black Panther token. Speak to him in the East Village and he’ll send you on a mission to find his cat. Enemies will attack while you follow the cat; just fight through them until you are able to escort him back to Black Panther and earn the token.

After getting the SHIELD Staff Car, you can get the Iron Fist character token by speaking to Blade on a roof and helping him fight through the enemies.

You’ll find a building with a generator on the wall, and you can fire it up to open the gate. Go inside and use Magneto on the wall, and a Gold Brick will appear.

On the roof of one building, you’ll find a sort of agility-style race for a Gold Brick.

Empire State Building

At the border between the Empire State Building and the Financial District, the vehicle token for Doom Jet is hovering above the road.

The marker on the map for Hydra Tank will lead you to the Empire State Building. Fly up to the next highest level from the ground and use a character with magnetism to open the door. Drop down and go inside, then use a character with electricity to power the generators to make the vehicle token appear.

Fly to the top level of the Empire State Building to find some American flags. Use a character with claws to activate the switch and raise the first one and a character with a grappling ability to raise the second one. Jump up to the next level and use a character with super senses to find and pull the handle to raise the second one, and you’ll be rewarded with the character token for Iron Patriot.

On the same level as the flags, you’ll find a person who needs your help. Speak with her, then climb down the ladder and use the zipline. When you find him, use a character with mind control to follow the little path, jumping across platforms, climbing ladders, and sliding across poles. You may lose control over him at one point, so fly up to where he is, take control of him again, and get him the rest of the way up for a Gold Brick.

In the same area, there is a skydiving platform. Jump from it and follow the trails of studs for the Superior Spider-Man character token.

Empire State University

Speak to the man outside of the college and he’ll ask you to help him fight. Doing so will earn you a Gold Brick.

Speak to the girl outside of Empire State University and she’ll ask you to find her friend. She is dark-skinned with a black ponytail and will be standing outside of the Reptile House. Get her to follow you back for a Gold Brick.

F.E.A.S.T.

F.E.A.S.T. is the area around a building with the same name in Little Italy.

Talk to the man outside to be sent on a mission. Follow the trail and find the man with the carrot. Beat him up and take the carrot, then go back to the man for a Gold Brick.

Beginning near the building, there is a race. Pick up a car off the street or from a Helicarrier call-in point. It’s a windy race, so it took me a few tries to get through, but finishing will earn you a Gold Brick.

Financial District

To get to the Financial District, travel to the area surrounding the icon for That Sinking Feeling.

From here, use a character with the power of flight to fly straight up for what will feel like a long time until you reach the platform in the sky. On top of this platform, you’ll find a box with a silver lock that must be destroyed with explosives in order to get the character token for Taskmaster.

In the center of the park, stand on the glowing circle and you’ll be attacked. Shoot explosives at the silver covering, then destroy the gold part with heat, and finally throw a rock using a large character. This will earn you a Gold Brick.

Head to the right and begin a task with a SHIELD Agent. Follow the gold arrows and go in the opposite direction of the silver ones to reach the end and get a Gold Brick.

Walk down the path and speak to the fisherman. Use a telekinetic character to give life preservers to the stranded citizens for a Gold Brick.

Destroy the spider webs and go inside of the building where the Spider-Woman token is on the map. Pull the handle, then fly to the top of the building to get the Spider-Woman character token.

Off the roof from the previous collectible, there is a man who needs your help. Follow the red ghost coins to the center of Times Square and find the woman near the soda machine at the opposite end of the stairs. Speak with her and she’ll follow you back to your quest giver for a Gold Brick.

Near the icon for A Shock Withdrawal (money), you’ll find another quest. Speak to the man and he’ll send you on a mission to chase down and destroy some cars for a Gold Brick.

Speak with the man in the mask (Captain Britain) near the A Shock Withdrawal icon and he’ll send you on a mission to find his car. Follow the red ghost coins, then drive the car back to unlock the Britmobile.

Travel to the Helicarrier pad on the opposite side of the Financial District. Nearby is a race, but first, you’ll want to grab a smaller vehicle. I used Stark’s Motorcycle, but any smaller vehicle will do. The race isn’t difficult, although there are a few narrow passageways, but that’s why you have a smaller vehicle. After completing it, you’ll get a Gold Brick.

Near the icon for Tabloid Tidy Up, the trumpet inside of a red circle, are quite a few collectibles. The closest character token to the water is for Cyklop (Astonishing), but for this quest to be available, you must first complete the quest at the Avenger’s Mansion where you drive the woman in the taxi if you haven’t already done so. If you have, a man will be waiting for you where the icon indicates. Speak with him, and you’ll get a similar mission to the one before. Grab a passing car off the street and drive to the indicated area, then follow the trail to the man’s destination to get the token.

The next closest collectible is down some stairs from the start of the previous one. Flip the switch nearby and you’ll begin driving a go-kart with a hammer on top. Smash all of the other cars for a Gold Brick.

A little bit further into this tunnel, you can interact with Blade. There is a car waiting for you nearby, but grab a smaller vehicle from the Helicarrier pad instead, because there are some narrow passages in this race. Winning will earn you the vehicle token for Pizza Bike.

Fly up to the roof across the street from the Daily Bugle. You should be able to see the Gold Brick on one side of the roof; on the opposite side, use a character with a heat ability to cut into the gold wall. This will reveal a portal for Venom to slide through and reach the Gold Brick.

Fly to the roof of a very tall building not too far from the Daily Bugle. Hack the panel by matching the icons, then walk around and hack the next panel by hitting the arrows. The last panel is found on the next level, and then you can earn the Gold Brick.

Near the icons for The Good, the Bad, and the Hungry and Red Head Detention, you’ll find a man who wants your help fixing his shop sign. Use a telekinetic character to help him spell the word LEGO for a Gold Brick.

At the corner of the Financial District, near the coast, fly to the roof of a brown brick building. This is actually where you’ll want to end up and where the brick is located, so go back to the beginning of this mission and pull the handle. Switch to Black Widow and turn yourself invisible, then make your way through the obstacles, climbing up the walls, swinging across the poles, and shooting targets. The Gold Brick will be at the end.

There are two races in the Financial District, one of which is found partway between the icons for The Good, the Bad, and the Hungry and A Shock Withdrawal. I used Stark’s Motorcycle for this one, since there are some sharp turns and it is easier to control. Finishing the race in time will earn you a Gold Brick.

The second race is found much closer to the icon for A Shock Withdrawal. I used Stark’s Motorcycle again, since it’s a winding path with some narrow passageways, and once again, you will earn a Gold Brick for completing the race in time.

In the Financial District, you’ll find a construction site near the icon for Feeling Fisky. Destroy the car atop the mound of dirt, then use a digging character to dig up the Ant-Man character token.

Not far from the previous token, use a character with agility to hop between walls to reach the Leader character token.

After getting the Flower Car, you’ll find Groot in the Financial District. Kill nine moles in the designated time for the vehicle token for Mandarin’s Boat.

Fogwell’s Gym

After getting Punisher’s vehicles, you’ll find him outside of Fogwell’s Gym (marked with a dumbbell icon on your map). Speak to him and he’ll send you on the same mission as usual, destroying vehicles. You’ll earn the Punisher character token after completing this.

In between two towers near Fogwell’s gym is the start of a flying race for a Gold Brick.

Near the race’s start, on top of one building, you’ll find four fans. Destroy them with either explosives or heat, then step on the button inside each of them for a Gold Brick.

Grand Central Station

On the border between Grand Central Station and Lower East Side, on the roof of a building, you’ll find a timed puzzle that must be completed with a large character. Smash and pull the walls first, then step on each pad for a Gold Brick.

Just underneath Stark Tower, invisible underneath the Sand Central Station logo on your map, you’ll find a blonde man who wants your help. Follow the trail, then defeat the bad guys for a Gold Brick.

Helicarrier

On top of the Helicarrier, there are a series of fires near two workers with hardhats. Use a character with an extinguishing or ice ability to put out the fires for a Damage Control character token.

Near the flames, you can speak to an agent who sends you on a mission to find another agent who’s gone missing. Head to the other end of the Helicarrier and stand near the turbine, then use a character with super senses to find the agent. Bring him back to the first agent for a Gold Brick.

Climb down a ladder to the lower part of the Helicarrier and find the stack of boxes with a grappling point attached. Use it to destroy the boxes and reveal a grate, then use a character with teleportation to go through. On the other side, you can get the vehicle token for the SHIELD Jetfighter.

Near the turbine opposite the one where you found the missing agent, you’ll find another agent that needs your help finding a document on the turbine. Go to the adjacent turbine and drop down to a lower level on the right side. There is a small ladder that leads to a walkway with some plants, which you must destroy in order to find the document. Use a telekinetic character to pull it out, then pick it up and head back to the agent for a Gold Brick.

You’ll find two cannons on the front left side of the Helicarrier. Hop into one of them and shoot all of the ships for a Gold Brick.

You’ll find a cannon on the middle right of the Helicarrier. Hop into one of them and shoot all of the ships for a Gold Brick.

Go to the back left turbine on the Helicarrier and you’ll see some agents fearfully running around. If you look around the turbine, you’ll see it’s blocked by a number of different things. Use a character with a heat ability to melt the gold statues, then shoot out the rest of the objects. A generator will raise, allowing you to use a character with electricity to power it for a Gold Brick.

Race with Maria Hill for the vehicle token for the Go-Kart.

After unlocking the Go-Kart, talk to Maria Hill again and defeat the enemies for the SHIELD Minicarrier vehicle token.

After the previous two missions, race Maria Hill again to unlock the Maria Hill character token.

To the right of the ledge where you can skydive down to New York City, switch to a character with the power of flight and speak to the Silver Surfer. He’ll challenge you to a flying race. Defeat him for a Gold Brick.

Underneath the Helicarrier, you’ll find a switch and a turret. Pull the switch, then hop onto the turret and shoot all of the targets for the character token for SHIELD Agent.

Helicarrier – Deadpool’s Room

Unlock all of the Deadpool Bricks from the bonus levels and you will earn Deadpool after purchasing them.

Helicarrier – Hangar

To reach this room, take the elevator to the interior of the Helicarrier and go into the room on the right.

Talk to the Shield Agent down the stairs, and he’ll give you a mission: get rid of the snakes. As soon as you’re done speaking, the snakes will start to attack like minor enemies, so all you have to do is battle them. He’ll give you a Gold Brick as a reward.

Head left from here and talk to another agent, who asks you to find a wrench for him. Head to the right corner and hop on a box to pick it up, then take it back to him for a Gold Brick.

Helicarrier – Laboratory

The laboratory in the Helicarrier is found by going down the left hallway and through a doorway on the left.

Speak to the agent, and he’ll give you the task of cleaning the graffiti off of the window. Use a telekinetic character to move the brush over each of the faces to remove them for a Gold Brick.

Helicarrier – Left Hallway

As the name suggests, this hallway is found by going through the door on the left.

Speak to the agent across from Deadpool’s room, and he’ll ask you to find his Captain America card. Head down the hallway and through the doorway on the right, into the Detention Cell. Continue to the right and pick up the card, then bring it back to the agent for a Gold Brick.

Helicarrier – Medical Bay

Go down the left hallway to the end and into the intelligence center, then down the stairs to the right and through the doorway to reach the medical bay.

Toward the right corner of the room, to the left of the character creator, is an agent who needs your help to find a cast for another agent’s leg. The cast is in the hangar, on the right side of the Helicarrier, inside of a box in the back left corner. Destroy the box and take the cast back to the agent for a Gold Brick.

Horizon Labs

Under the bridge, use the agility pads to reach the Police Truck vehicle token.

Outside of Horizon Labs, talk to the man and use a telepathic character to take over his mind. Use the umbrella as a springboard, climb the ladder, head to the left, and use the next springboard to grab the pole and hop up. Climb the next ladder and climb up the ropes and swing across. Use the next springboard to reach the rope, climb up, and slide across the pole. Step on the platform to disable the lasers and head up the ladder. He might lose you after this, so fly up to him and mind control him once more. Hit the next platform and climb up the ladder, then head to the left across the poles. Drop down, step on the platform, head up the ladder, and go left to reunite the man with his girlfriend. This will get you a Gold Brick.

Talk to the man outside of Horizon Labs and he’ll ask you to find his pizzas. The pizza van is in Little Italy; once you find it, hop in and drive it back to the man, and he’ll give you a Gold Brick.

Head underground, underneath Horizon Labs, and use a large character to pull the handles on the wall. Head down until you reach the large room with five enemies, and destroy them all within 30 seconds for a Gold Brick.

Industrial District

Near the courts on the map, you should see an icon with a samurai inside. Set this destination on your map and locate it, then use a character with super senses on top of the roof to detect certain points in the maze. Then, switch to a telekinetic character and have them move the purple object to the end of the maze for the Silver Samurai character token.

Near the Red Hulk token on the map, speak to the police officer and help him kill a bunch of bad guys for a Gold Brick.

Look for the Red Hulk token on the map and switch to a large character, then stand on the designated area. Fight Red Hulk for the Red Hulk character token.

Another Gold Brick icon nearby will take you to a visible Gold Brick that’s seemingly impossible to find. From the area it takes you to, look for a large hole in the ground with a dig spot. Use a character with claws to dig it up, then use Sandman to go through the sand and get the Gold Brick.

Very close to the previous collectible, you’ll find a man that can be mind controlled inside of a caged booth. Have him pull the switch inside to reveal the vehicle token for Mandarin’s Buggy.

Near the icon for Bifrosty Reception, you should see a character icon and a question mark icon. Follow the character icon and speak to Heimdall, then help him defeat the Frost Giants in exchange for the Iron Man (Heroic Age) character token.

Now, look for the question mark icon. You will need to fly on the roof of a building to find the man to speak to, then follow the map to a closed store. Use a character with electricity powers to power the first generator, then fly up to the roof and power the second one. This will open the store, allowing you to go inside and destroy a mannequin, then pick up a hat. Bring it back to the man for a Gold Brick.

In the Industrial District, you’ll find a walled-off construction site. Blow up the manhole cover to create a water jet that shoots you up to the Absorbing Man character token.

Not far from the Feeling Fisky icon, you’ll find Black Panther. He asks for your help defeating the enemies, and after doing so, rewards you with the Pepper Potts character token.

After completing the previous quest, you’ll find Black Panther again nearby, close to the water. Speak to him and he’ll give you a mission: fly up to the magnetic contraption to your right, use Magneto to dismantle it, then use Captain America to activate the shield switch. There is another switch near the water; activate that, then use a character with a hacking ability to match the pictures. Black Panther will give you the Rescue character token.

Atop a small building, use the Hulk to throw rocks at the four basketball hoops within the designated time for the Bullseye character token.

After completing the taxi quest in Inwood and getting Cyclops (Astonishing), you can find another taxi-seeking pedestrian in the Industrial District. Drive him to his desired location to receive the vehicle token for Captain America’s Bike.

After completing Toad’s first mission, talk to him in the Industrial District and he’ll ask you to hop on the lily pads in the designated time. It’s not hard if you don’t hop, just swim between them; completing this will earn you Wolverine’s Motorcycle.

Behind a fence around a building, you’ll be able to see a Gold Brick inside. Use a character with teleportation to make it to the other side and pull the switch to disable the lasers, then head in and grab the brick.

Pull the handle on the wall, then switch to Black Widow and use your cloaking ability to sneak past the cameras. Head to the right and begin scaling the wall, swinging on the poles, and hopping across until you reach the Gold Brick.

There is a flying race for a Gold Brick that begins on the roof of a building near the water. This one is, in my opinion, the easiest flying race in the game.

Inwood

To reach Inwood, go to the path below the X-Mansion.

Head down the path until you see the woman with the dog. She asks you to find her dog’s toy, and to do so, you’ll need a character with super senses. Dig up the spot, then follow the stud trail and do the same again. The next stud trail tries to get you to use the plants to bounce, but this is a pain, so I switched to a flying character to go up, then switched back to a character with super senses. Dig up the spot and follow the next trail. Do the same again, and you’ll eventually be led to another plant to bounce on. Since there’s only one, it’s much easier. A few spots later and you’ll be back to the path where you started, but you’re almost done. Once you’re led down to a lower area, you’ll finally find the toy. Pick it up, head back up the path, then follow the stud trail back to the woman and give her the toy for a Gold Brick.

From the woman with the dog, head down the path and go left to the green house. Go down onto the beach and destroy the plants until you find the pile of sand. Use Sandman to go through and get the Gold Brick.

Walk across the beach from the greenhouse until you find Toad. He’ll want you to bounce on the targeted lily pads in the time limit, which isn’t as hard as it sounds, because even if you fall off you can swim to the next lily pad and bounce on it. If you bounce on all of them within the time limit, you’ll get a Gold Brick.

Groot (must get Flower Car and Mandarin’s Boat first)

As you walk down to the street, take a right onto a little path. Head up the hill, then go up the stairs to the billboard and climb the ladder. Use a character with a hacking ability to move the arrows and complete the maze. Climb the whole way up the ladder to the other side and hop across the platforms to reach the Gold Brick.

Near the billboard are a few vehicles and a glowing green ring that indicates a race. Hop in one of the vehicles and start the race. It’s pretty straight, except for the very beginning, so it shouldn’t take you too many tries to complete. Finish the race in the time limit for a Gold Brick.

After getting the Flower Car and Mandarin’s Boat, you can get the character token for Groot in Inwood. Speak to him, then shoot all the moles in the designated time for the token.

Talk to Ghost Rider in Inwood after your first race with him to start a second race. Be sure to use some type of motorcycle, because they are way faster than regular vehicles and you won’t be able to beat him otherwise. This race will undoubtedly take a few tries until you get used to it, because it’s pretty difficult and fast, and I had quite a few near-misses. difficult race

Kronos Corporation

On the roof of this building (found by flying to the Gold Brick icon near the Tabloid Tidy Up icon on your map), you’ll use a telekinetic character to move the purple object on the left side to the end of the maze. Then, move the purple object on the bottom to the other end. This will open a box containing a Gold Brick.

Liberty Island

Liberty Island is off the coast from the That Sinking Feeling icon and contains an icon with a taco.

Around the edge of the island, you should see a glowing green ring. Nearby is a golf cart that you can use magnetism on for a Golf Cart token.

Hop in the golf cart and approach the ring to start the race around the island. The only hard part about this race is trying not to run into anything, because your golf cart can be destroyed during the race. Complete it for a Gold Brick.

After completing the mission for Toad and unlocking Wolverine’s motorcycle, speak to him on Liberty Island. Once again, you’ll be asked to jump on the lily pads in a specific order within a certain amount of time. Doing so will earn you the Toad character token.

On the lowest platform of Liberty, pull the handle and use Ant-Man to go through the maze. Disable the beams until you can pull the next handle, then continue through the maze until you reach the Gold Brick at the end.

Little Italy

On the roof of a building just into Little Italy, near the edge of the Financial District, there are some security cameras. Use Black Widow to turn yourself invisible and hack the panel to reveal the vehicle token for SHIELD Staff Car.

Jump off the roof and you’ll find a man nearby who needs your help finding someone. Follow the trail, find the man with the baguette in his hand, and bring him back to the man. Your efforts will earn you a Gold Brick.

On the roof of the store near the two races, unfreeze the claw switch and activate it. Hop down and use super senses and grappling to reveal another claw switch and activate this one as well. The last switch is one more level down, and activating it will open the gate. Go inside and get the vehicle token for Pizza Van.

Complete the race nearby with any vehicle for a Gold Brick.

After unlocking Iron Man (Heroic Era), the Chitauri Chariot, and completing the quest near the Bifrosty Reception icon, you can unlock the character token for Heimdall: first, find him by a pizza shop in Little Italy and he’ll ask you to find his friend. This takes you on a trek across New York City until you come across a man holding a hat. Bring him back to Heimdall and he’ll give you the token.

Lower East Side

Not far from the icon for Red Head Detention, after unlocking both the Britmobile and Psylocke, you’ll be able to get the character token for Captain Britain. All you have to do is find and speak with him, and he’ll recruit you to fight some enemies with him. Your reward afterwards will be his token.

Just across the street from Marvel Comics HQ, after completing the quest in East Harlem/West Harlem with the old woman and the cat, she’ll send you on a similar mission. Follow the trail of studs to the general area; the cat is black and can be found near the generator on the side of the building. Bring the cat back to the woman for a Gold Brick.

Near Stark Tower, a woman is looking for her son. Follow the trail of studs and you’ll find him near some crates of carrots. Bring the kid back to his mom for a Gold Brick.

Fly up to the roof of the building with the security cameras nearby. Use Black Widow to turn herself invisible to get inside and pull the handle. The Gold Brick will appear off the roof of the building near the neon pink sign.

Along the water in the Lower East Side, after getting the Garbage Truck and Star-Lord tokens, speak to Rocket Raccoon. Travel to Fisk Tower and use Peter Parker to take a photo from the roof, then head back to Rocket Raccoon for the Rocket Raccoon character token.

On a roof in the Lower East Side, you’ll find some remote-control cars you can race for a Gold Brick.

Marvel Comics HQ

Once you’ve unlocked both Gamora and Gwen Stacy, you can go to the roof of the Marvel Comics HQ building and speak with Drax again. Fly to the circus tents in Central Park and steal the lion out of the pen. Ride it back to the building and climb up the ramps and platforms to the top. You’ll get the character token for Drax as a reward.

After saving the first Stan Lee In Peril, ten statues will pop up around the building. Destroy them with either heat or explosives, then find the teleportation grate and melt the final three for a Gold Brick.

Oscorp

Fly to the top of the Oscorp building and shoot the silver wall with explosives. Use Venom to pass through to the other side to get the vehicle token for Pumpkin Chopper.

On the roof of a building near the Oscorp building, you’ll find a silver Spider-Man statue. Destroy it with explosives to get the vehicle token for Spider-Cycle.

Off the roof from this building, you should find a makeshift stage. Talk to the girl and she’ll have you keep the spotlight on the dancer. Your reward will be a Gold Brick.

Not far from here, use a character with a freezing ability to put out ten flames for a Gold Brick.

If you’ve already done the quest with the woman at the Empire State Building, you can do this next one. Just around the corner from the previous one, speak to the man, then use a character with mind control to take him over.

Queensboro Bridge

On the Queensboro Bridge (across from the Taking Liberties icon), extinguish the flames on the car, grapple the next car down, extinguish and lift the next car with a strong character, and fly up and extinguish the last car for a Gold Brick.

Underneath the bridge, control the car and use your hammer to take out the other cars. Once you destroy all of them, you’ll get a Gold Brick.

Way up in the sky over the bridge, you’ll find the beginning of a flying race for a Gold Brick.

The Raft

To reach the Raft, I used the map to find the icon for Rock Up at the Lock Up and set a place marker there, then flew off of the Helicarrier to the island. I landed on the roof of a round building, which is where you’ll find the first collectible.

Use a character with super strength to pull the handles on the roof of a round building for the Raft Helicopter token.

Use a character with flight to reach the roof of an octagontal building. There, you’ll find a man who needs your help fixing the H on the landing pad. Use a character with telekinesis to rotate the pieces for a Gold Brick.

Along the lower part of the beach, you’ll find a dig spot that gives you the Raft Truck token.

The Raft Ferry Port

The Raft Ferry Port overlaps with East Harlem and Yorkville, so be wary of possible location changes between these areas.

Near the stairs going up from the port, you should see a ledge near a building with a few containers of seashells. Look up above the containers to find a shield switch and use Captain America to activate it. Fly to the right from here onto the balcony to receive the vehicle token for SHIELD APC.

From the previous token, drop down and head toward the open door surrounded by a brick wall. Use a character with super strength and stand on the shining plate on the ground, then activate the plate to start a challenge of killing the designated amount of moles within the time limit. Once you get the hang of it, this shouldn’t be too difficult, and will earn you the vehicle token for the Raid Truck.

Speak to the sailor and he’ll ask you to blow up some boats for him. It’s easiest to use a version of Iron Man and shoot explosives at the boats. You’ll receive a Gold Brick for doing this.

Reptile House

Along one side of the pond, you’ll find four targets. Destroy all of them (I used Iron Man’s heat beam) for the Kraven the Hunter character token.

At the center of the fountain, you’ll be able to see a faded Gold Brick hovering above the top. Destroy the four bushes around the fountain quickly to get the brick.

Roxxon Power Station

At the Roxxon Power Station, the platform across from The Good, the Bad, and the Hungry icon, you’ll find a woman who needs your help. Walk along the waste and to the left, using explosives on the silver barrier. Extinguish the flames, then find the worker and have her follow you back. Go back to where you were, using Black Widow’s invisibility to sneak past the lasers, then fly up to the computer and use a hacking character to disable them. Bring the next worker back. Grapple on the boxes to free the next worker and bring him back. Finally, extinguish the last set of flames and bring the last worker back for a Gold Brick.

After completing the previous quest, head up to the roof of the power station. Use a hacking character to open the box for a Gold Brick.

On the path outside of the station, speak to the old lady and help her across the street for a Gold Brick.

After saving everyone from the power station, head to the glowing area outside of the station to start a battle with Kurse. Use a large character to beat him for the Kurse character token.

Scrapyard

Talk to Rocket Raccoon, then walk to the indicated area. Behind the fence, destroy the dumpster and pick up the knife, then carry it back to Rocket for the Garbage Truck vehicle token.

In the Scrapyard, you’ll find a gold wall that you can burn through. Clear the boxes and use the claw switch inside to make a Gold Brick appear on the roof, then fly up to get it.

Not far from the previous collectible, there is a fairly easy race beginning in a roundabout near the Rapturous Rise icon on your map and ending near Horizon Labs that will earn you a Gold Brick.

Soho

On the corner of Soho, Times Square, and the Empire State Building, you’ll find a race. It is very windy, with narrow passageways and seemingly random checkpoints, so it is one of the more difficult of the vehicle races. Completing it will earn you a Gold Brick.

After getting the Iron Man (Heroic Age) character token, fly to the top of the building where Heimdall is waiting to give you a quest. Use a character’s heat ability to melt the ice off of four civilians: two on the street below (one near some trees and one in a corner near some shops), one on the building nearby with the Iron Man poster, and one a few levels down on the same building you started. Getting all four will give you the vehicle token for Chitauri Chariot.

Stark Tower

At the ground level of the tower, speak to the blonde man, then use a character with mind control to arrange the line. He’ll give you a Gold Brick as a reward.

Fly to the top of the tower. Destroy all of the vents in the time limit for the character token for Iron Man (Hulkbuster).

Times Square

Follow the logo for Gamora and speak with Drax to start a mission. Follow the trail to the building and fly up to where you can hack the panel. Walk across the platforms and pull the switch, then go inside and grab the saxophone. Hand it to Drax for the character token for Gamora.

After doing the previous mission, the mission to get the character token for Gwen Stacy is nearby. Once again, it’s given by Drax, and all you have to do is defeat some enemies.

Close to the previous mission, you’ll find a golden statue of Stan Lee. Melt it with a heat ability for a Gold Brick.

Speak with the construction worker to be sent on a mission to find his shovel. Follow the trail to the underground and shoot the spiderweb to reveal the shovel. Grab it and take it back to the construction worker for a Gold Brick.

Upper East Side

Fly to the top of a building which has what looks like a grain silo. Walk underneath it and use a heat ability to melt the ice for the Super-Skrull character token.

After getting Punisher’s Truck, find him in the Upper East Side and he’ll ask you to complete a similar mission to before: chase down and destroy the green trucks. Your reward will be a vehicle token for Punisher’s Car.

On a nearby roof to the previous one, you’ll be able to see the Spider-Trike vehicle token inside of the greenhouse. Go to the bottom of the building and you’ll find a generator. Use an electricity power to fill it, then go back up to the roof to claim your token.

In the Upper East Side near Yorkville, destroy the plants in a garden to find a dig spot. This will cause a trail of studs to appear, leading you to an area where you must use super senses to find another dig spot. Follow the trail again to find another similar area and dig, then head back the way you came to the next one. The last one is behind a dumpster down a windy path, and getting it will give you a Gold Brick.

Fly to the roof and use Ant-Man to go through the maze for a Gold Brick.

The race in the Upper East Side is pretty easy, aside from the fact that you’ll be moving against traffic most of the way through. I recommend using a smaller vehicle such as a motorcycle to complete this, and doing so will earn you a Gold Brick.

Upper West Side

Use a large, strong character to bust through the floor of the construction site, then use a digging character to unearth the SHIELD 4×4 vehicle token.

After getting the Garbage Truck, speak to Rocket Raccoon in the Upper West Side and he’ll ask you to help him defeat some enemies. Doing so will earn you the Star-Lord character token.

Head up to a rooftop in the Upper West Side and shoot the target. This will make another target appear in different location, and so on. After shooting all of the targets, the Police Helicopter vehicle token will appear on the roof where you began.

Talk to the woman on the roof, then use a telekinetic character to move the beams and help her across. Continue to do this until the end and you’ll get a Gold Brick.

You should be able to see a Gold Brick inside of a greenhouse in the Upper West Side. Melt the ice on the pond, then use a character with teleportation to slide through the grate to reach the brick.

Washington Heights

Washington Heights is found surrounding the Avengers’ Mansion, near Inwood.

Fly up to the roof of the sushi restaurant building, then go to the adjacent roof. You should see some handles for a character with super strength to pull; nearby will be another small wall with a green dumpster in front of it. Smash the dumpster and the wall behind it with a super strong character to uncover the Hydra Agent character token.

Nearby a Gold Brick is waiting for you, if you can use a character with a freezing or extinguishing ability to put out the fires. The first is surrounding a man in front of a door, on the ground level. Then you’ll have to grapple up (for me, it was easier to fly up and land on a balcony without a fire, then extinguish from there) and extinguish the next two fires, one on each side. From here, I flew up to the next fire-less balcony and climbed the ladder to reach the ledge, then fly up to the roof from here to find the last set of flames.

Head toward the Helicarrier call console, near a souvenir shop. Through the window of the shop, you should be able to see a token. Hop on the nearby dumpster to reach a ladder and climb up, then hop across a few awnings until you can reach and climb up another few ladders. Eventually, you’ll be able to reach the roof. Switch to Captain America and stand behind the shielding wall until you can reach the pad and deflect the lasers to hit the gold fan. Throw your shield into the switch to unlock the door, then go back down to the shop and get the character token for Havok.

Right outside of the shop, you’ll be in West Harlem.

West Harlem/East Harlem

West and East Harlem have a fine line between them, so I’ve just combined them into one.

Near the Helicarrier call console, walk alongside the nearest building and jump into the water. Climb the ladder and power the generator with electricity. This is your first of three. The next one is on the side of the building and can be reached by flying up to a platform. It is hidden beneath some vegetation, but still mostly visible. The final generator is on the roof, and powering all three will earn you a Gold Brick.

Head down the street until you see an old woman who needs your help finding her cat. Follow the indication, then round the corner near the stairs to find the cat. Press the indicated button and the cat will follow you back to its owner for a Gold Brick.

Go around the building to find a quick flying race. Use any character that can fly and go straight up for a Gold Brick.

Fly adjacent from here until you see the basketball courts. Use a character with super strength to throw each ball at the basket for a Gold Brick.

Near the area with the token for the Raid Truck, you should see the Punisher. Speak to him and he’ll lend you his truck to follow a car and destroy it as it drives around. Ride behind it and run into it a few times to destroy it, and as a reward, you’ll get the vehicle token for Punisher’s Truck.

Halfway in between the Raft Ferry Port and a lone Helicarrier call pad, a man will ask for your help extinguishing small flames that Pyro will start on a mound of tires. Doing so will earn you a Gold Brick.

Find the location of the Gold Brick icon on your map nearest to the lone Helicarrier pad. You should be led to a large blue container on a brick wall. Around the wall to the right, use a large character to stand on the switch, then use another character to run around and grab the Gold Brick.

The next Gold Brick icon nearby should lead you to a car lot. Destroy all seven red cars (this is easiest with a large character such as the Hulk or the Thing) within the time limit to earn the Gold Brick.

Set a destination on your map on the next Gold Brick icon, which should lead you to an underground parking lot. Walk up the ramps until you reach the top and throw Captain America’s shield into the switch. This will release some enemies you may recognize from the levels with Doctor Octopus. Fight through them as you make your way back down the ramps, then head into the previously barricaded room and destroy the gold dumpster for a Gold Brick.

Fly up to the roof of the indicated building in West Harlem and hit the ventilator along the wall to reveal a claw switch. Use a digging character to activate it and a wall will be revealed below. Destroy the wall to get the Elektra character token.

Use a large, strong character to smash the seven walls: one up the ladder, one on the roof, one under the car, one under the awning, one along the wall in the alley, one on the wall (you’ll have to throw a rock or car at this one), and one that can be reached by hopping on the springy dumpster lid. Doing this will earn you the She-Hulk character token.

After unlocking the Pizza Bike and Iron Fist, talk to Blade on a rooftop. Grab a car and chase down the indicated golf carts for the Blade character token.

Talk to the officer outside of the pizza shop and help him defeat some enemies for a Gold Brick.

In East Harlem, hop up from the dumpster lid or umbrella onto an awning and climb the ladder. Hop across here, climb up the agility wall, and grab the poles to make it up to the roof. Switch to Black Widow and use her invisibility to sneak past the cameras to pull the switch, then go inside the shop and get the Gold Brick.

After getting Spider-Man (F.F.), race Ghost Rider again for the Mister Fantastic (F.F.) token. It’s a difficult race with sharp turns, so I’d definitely recommend using a motorcycle.

In West Harlem, there is a flying race that begins on the roof of a car wash for a Gold Brick.

After completing the two Silver Surfer missions, defeat the enemy and bring the brick to the Silver Surfer for the Silver Surfer character token.

After getting Deadpool’s scooter, talk to him in East Harlem and destroy the pink object, then pick up the gun and bring it back to unlock Deadpool’s Helicopter.

For the final collectible in the game, after unlocking everything else, meet Deadpool and help him defeat some enemies to unlock Aunt May.

X-Mansion

Use the green icon on the map to quickly travel to the X-Mansion (near the Juggernauts and Crosses icon).

Speak to Professor Xavier near where you land, and he’ll task you with cutting around the gold wall nearby with a heat or fire power. Do what he asks for the Magneto-mobile vehicle token.

After the previous task has been completed, head into the tennis court and come back out to see that Professor Xavier has a new task waiting for you. Speak to him, then mind control the student on the other side of the glass. Follow the stud arrows through the maze until you reach the X at the end for the Emma Frost character token.

Once again, you’ll have to leave and come back for the next task to appear. Speak to Professor Xavier again and use a character with telekinesis to place the pieces on the logo for the Professor X character token.

Head up the stairs to the X-Mansion and go right, alongside the mansion, to reach the backyard area. A Sentinal will appear, and you’ll have to defeat it. Start by using explosives on the silver plate on its chest, then melting the gold plate underneath. When the purple part is revealed, you’ll need to use a character with super strength to pull a rock out of the ground and throw it. This will destroy the Sentinal and earn you the character token for Colossus.

Go left in the backyard to find a pile of obstacles. Destroy them, along with the object up on the wall, then use a character with magnetism on the wall for a Gold Brick.

There is a small hedge-lined path near the backyard. Destroy the statue on the path with explosives for a Gold Brick.

From the backyard, head down the path into the cave. Use a character with super senses to reveal the generator, then power it with a character with electricity. Next, you’ll find another generator on the ceiling of the area, and on the side of a pillar near the dock underneath the silver plating. Powering up all three of these generators will give you the vehicle token for the X-Jet.

Come up through the cave the way you went down and look for the Helicarrier call console. Drop down to the path below to reach an area called Inwood.

After unlocking Black Bolt, head to the X-Mansion. Speak to Gambit and help him defeat the enemies for Mandarin’s Helicopter.

There is a flying race for a Gold Brick that begins on top of the X-Mansion.

Yorkville

Near the Raft Ferry Port, find a vehicle and go to the race designated on your map. The race is somewhat difficult due to the cars that will be on the roads while you are, but completing it will drop you in the Industrial District and earn you a Gold Brick.

If you follow the indication to find the character token Beetle, it will lead you to a building. Fly over the building into the closed-in area with what looks like a maze. Hop on the webs and collect all the studs until, eventually, the token will appear over the center web.

Atop the big skyscraper with the satellite dish, you’ll find some vents. Freeze each one and use a character with teleportation to hop between them until you reach the one inside the pole that holds the dish. Use a character with agility to hop up the wall and reach the Carnage character token.

Use a character with mind control to flip a switch inside of a building for the Whiplash character token.

Under the bridge, there is a piece of wall that can be broken by a strong character or a character with claws. Behind it is the character token for Sandman Goon.

In a small alcove on a rooftop, you’ll find a box that can be activated with super senses. Use a grappling character to pull it open for the Mary Jane Watson token.

On one rooftop, you’ll find what looks like a race marker. It’s easiest to use Spider-Man for this, as you will be hopping between buildings and up agility walls. It’s a difficult challenge, but its completion will earn you the Nova token.

In a small square alley, you’ll be attacked by a large amount of enemies at once. Use a character like Spider-Man or Iron Man, who can quickly attack from afar, to kill five enemies within thirty seconds for the Power Man character token.

Go to the construction site and use a large, strong character to destroy the sheets of concrete on the ground, then use a character to teleport to the Police Motorcycle vehicle token.

Speak to the man with the egg and he’ll ask you to escort him to Empire State University. Beat up any of the bad guys that follow you until you get there for a Gold Brick.

Slide through the hidden grate underneath the recycling bin to enter the building with the Gold Brick inside.

Speak to the girl in Yorkville who asks you to help her get into her window. First, use a clawed character on the switch, then take over the girl’s mind and climb up the ladder. Switch to a character with grappling abilities to pull down the next ladder and have her climb up, then use a character with super senses to reveal the next ladder. Next is another claw switch, then another grappling section, then jump up to the roof and pull the handle. Walk along the edge until the girl reaches her apartment for a Gold Brick.

Find the fan that prevents your entry into an alley and use explosives to destroy it. Take a left after the fan and destroy the next one for a Gold Brick.

Destroy the two walls as Thor and charge up the generator near the roof for a Gold Brick to appear in the building.

Near the previous one, you’ll find a race designation. Grab a vehicle and race through the streets of Yorkville for a Gold Brick.

Talk to the old woman near Empire State University and she’ll ask you to find her purse. Chase the man until you are able to hit him a few times, then grab the purse and bring it back to the woman for a Gold Brick.
