Episode V, Chapter 6: Betrayal Over Bespin

In this level you’ll need a Grappling Character, Imperial, Astromech, Protocol Droid, Jedi, Sith, and Bounty Hunter.

First Time

(You’ll be fighting a ton of Stormtroopers throughout the level, so I didn’t include destroying them throughout this walkthrough. They pop up constantly, so just try to destroy or avoid them as best you can.) Head forward, build the object in the center of the room, destroy the left side of the wall, pull the handle, and head up the stairs. Follow Boba Fett into the little room to commence a fight. He only has a few hearts, but he’ll leave once he’s down to one. Follow him back out of the room and he’ll activate the Bounty Hunter panel. Follow Boba Fett into the room on the left and through some more Stormtroopers. This is when Boba Fett leaves, but R2-D2 is back with you now. Build the object in the middle of the area here, then use R2-D2 to activate the panel to stop the steam. Head to the right this time, now that you can use R2-D2 on the panel. Go inside and destroy the Ugnaughts, then destroy the boxes and push the remaining object down the path and to the wall. Now you can pull the handle and assemble C-3PO out of the pieces you’re given. Head back to the beginning of the level and use him on the panel for a Canister. Now head back and use C-3PO on the Protocol Droid panel. Use the helmet dispenser, then go down the hall and head into the elevator on the right. Activate the panel with your helmet to continue.

As you enter the area, walk toward the screen and to the right for a Canister. Assemble the pieces, grapple across, and use the crane to bring R2-D2 and C-3PO over as well. Grapple up, assemble the pieces, and pull the handle to make the elevator go down to bring R2-D2 and C-3PO up. Jump over the red lasers and step on the button to allow the rest of your team to pass through. Use R2-D2 to float around the barrier and use him to activate the panel. Grapple up near the panel and shoot the hanging object to allow C-3PO through, then push one of the boxes out of the way to make a path for C-3PO to reach his panel. Activate the panel and head down the hallway. Build the final object for a Canister. Head down the hallway and use R2-D2 on the panel to stop the steam again. Then, head down the little side hallway and make a left to go outside.

Head to the left and step on the buttons, then head to the right and do the same. Pull both handles to make a path appear and go back the way you came.

To the left of the panel, you should see another little hallway that leads to a panel. Use R2-D2 on it and go through the door.

You’ll be attacked by tons and tons of Stormtroopers before the ramp to the Millennium Falcon finally drops down. When it does, head inside to end the level.

Free Play

Before (or after) you fight Boba Fett, you can use the Astromech panel in the room outside, pull the handle, and have another character Force down the platform to allow you to reach a Canister. In the room where you fight Boba Fett, use the Force on the object in the middle of the room to reveal a Canister. After following Boba Fett through the hall, walk outside to his ship to find the Power Brick – Minikit Detector. When you reach the area with the elevators, destroy the Stormtroopers and use the Force to flip over the chairs for a Canister. Go into the elevator on the left and use a Bounty Hunter on the panel, then destroy everything there and use the Force to make a Canister appear.

Near the end of the second area, grapple up and use an Astromech or Bounty Hunter to hover to the right to the Canister. Once you’re inside at the end of the second area, after disabling the steam, walk along the right wall and use a Sith character to Force the door open. Inside is a Double Score Zone with a Canister.

At the very end, when you’re fighting all of the Stormtroopers, you can double jump up onto the Millennium Falcon for a Canister.

Challenge

In Challenge mode, the level plays as usual, but you must collect ten blue Canisters before your time limit of ten minutes runs out. The level will end as soon as you collect the final Canister. These are not found in the same areas as the white Canisters of regular gameplay, but are as follows:

  1. At the very beginning of the level, use the Protocol Droid panel and go inside.
  2. In the room where you fight Boba Fett, go on the left side.
  3. After you follow Boba Fett through the little room, head right.
  4. This one should be right in your path as you follow Boba Fett.
  5. Head outside to Boba Fett’s ship, and the Canister is right behind it.
  6. In the second area, grapple up and double jump onto the top of the elevator that brings the droids up.
  7. After hovering across to the Astromech panel in the second area, grapple up to the Canister.
  8. Once you’re inside in the second area, head down the hallway until you find a grappling point. Grapple up, then use a Bounty Hunter or Astromech to hover diagonal to where you are.
  9. When you’re heading down the hallway to the little room, you should walk right into it.
  10. When you’re at the very end of the level, the Canister is behind the Millennium Falcon.

Congratulations, you’ve finished Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back!
