Year Seven, Level Six: DOBBY!

In this level you’ll need a Regular Wizard, Dark Wizard, Animagus, Parselmouth, and Deluminator Character.

First Time

Start by putting on the Spectrespecs and building the chest, which has a lock on it. None of the characters have their wands, so you can use one of them to roll into the shelf nearby and knock down the key. The pieces inside of the chest can be assembled into a cauldron to make a potion. Since you’re just making a potion right from the start of the level, you can go ahead and get your collectible out of the way. Use Ron’s Deluminator to transfer the light from the lit lantern to the unlit one a little to the right for a potion ingredient, then take the light back and bring it down to the chest in the lower level to clear away the vines and get the Ollivander character token. Put that ingredient into the cauldron, then start looking for the next ones; one is found by rolling into the barrels in the front left corner of the room and putting the pieces together, and the other by using Pigwidgeon to climb through the tunnel on the left side of the wall. Adding all of the ingredients will reveal a wall that must be unlocked using Parseltongue. Then, assemble the pieces to move on.

And now, you’re forced into a series of duels. Start by dueling either Draco or Narcissa Malfoy, then they will disappear and Bellatrix will send some Death Eaters after you while she shoots from afar. Some of the objects she’ll fling at you can be thrown back, so watch out for them. Each time she loses a heart, Draco and Narcissa show up for another duel. Defeat one of them and make Bellatrix lose another heart, and now Draco and Narcissa are throwing things at you as well. Throw something back at each of them to knock them out and duel Bellatrix for the final round. Right around now is a good time to get a collectible in, so go up to the back right corner and use Wingardium Leviosa on the stack of plates three times for the Slytherin Crest piece. Now duel Bellatrix for your last fight of Year Seven, and you’re done!

Since you didn’t have access to magic in your first run through this level, many of these collectibles are easily found. The Student In Peril can be rescued by using Reducto on the silver chain on the far left, next to the pet tunnel. The Hufflepuff Crest piece is found by shooting the three skeletons found around the room: one on the wall between the pet tunnel and the Spectrespecs, one next to the red brick wall on the far right, and one after dropping down from the previous and walking toward the screen on the right side. Use Diffindo on the red brick wall and build the vehicle to clean up the five water spills– one directly where the vehicle starts, one in the lower area under that, one in between two barrels near the Spectrespecs dispenser, one in front of the pet tunnel, and the last one under the stairs on the left side– for the Gryffindor Crest piece. And, finally, the last collectible of this area isn’t so easy if you’re just playing as a regular wizard– you’ll need a Dark Wizard to unlock the chest down the stairs to the left to get the character token for Wormtail.

Finally, the last two collectibles can be found in the dueling area. Both need a Dark Wizard to unlock, and both are close to each other. Using Dark Magic on the fireplace will give you the character token for Dobby, while doing the same to the object by the fireplace will give you the Ravenclaw Crest piece.

Afterward

Be aware that since this is the end of Year 7, random Death Eaters may appear in areas such as Diagon Alley and the Leaky Cauldron.

Congratulations, you’ve finished Year Seven: The Deathly Hallows, Part 1!
