Year Three, Level Six: The Dark Tower

In this level you’ll need a Regular Wizard, Goblin, Book Character, and Dark Wizard.

First Time

Shoot the lantern on the pole and use Expecto Patronum to fight the Dementor not far ahead. Activate the lantern with the ice on it and shoot it, then open the box and use the pickaxe to destroy the ice block. Use Lumos on the vines and kill the Dementor. Unfreeze and shoot the lantern here, and another near the fountain. Levitate the barrel to the garden to grow some plants. Shoot them to go up and kill the Dementor. Activate the final lantern here for the Ravenclaw Crest piece. Open the box and put together the pieces for a second statue. Shoot both statues to melt away the ice on the door and go through.

Have one character on each side. Use the character on the right to levitate the platform to the left. Switch to the left character and jump across, then levitate the torch to the vines to drop the platform on the other side. Switch to the right character and jump across. Levitate the platform over to the left again. Switch to the left and levitate the planks over to the right. Switch to the right again and go the whole way down, and levitate the blocks to the left. Now that both characters are across, you can move on to the next area.

Use Expecto Patronum on the three Dementors. Go to the right and levitate the cauldron down. Shoot the purple flowers and kill the snake for the first potion ingredient. Empty out the barrel and chop down the branch for the second ingredient. Go down the ladder and levitate the purple gargoyle above the window to break the glass. Once you’re inside, go a little to the right for the Gryffindor Crest piece. Have Hermione open the bookcase for the final ingredient. Drink the potion and pull the chain to make a bridge (be careful, sometimes three Dementors will randomly spawn before you have the chance to pull the chain). Kill the Dementor on the other side from the bridge, then climb across. Go up the stairs to the tower.

This is the second boss level of year three, where you have to fight many Dementors. This fight is pretty tricky, because using Expecto Patronum on the main Dementor will not work; instead, tip over the barrels before it tries to pull you in. After the second time it will try freezing the barrels, but you can unfreeze them by shooting the statues next to them. The level will end after you kill the main Dementor.

Free Play

Near the end of the first area by the fountain is a door with a lock on it. Use Reducto on the lock and go through the door for the character token for James Potter (Ghost). Destroy the Dementor here as well to get the Student In Peril.

Destroy the lock on the chest when you enter the second level for the character token for Lily Potter (Ghost). At the end of this area, use a Goblin to unlock the vault to the left of the door for the Slytherin Crest piece.

To get the Hufflepuff Crest piece, you have to destroy the six gargoyles using Reducto. Two are to the right of the ladder, one is hanging above the door, one is near the tree, one is near the cauldron, and one is on the other side of the area (near the spiraling staircase). Down the ladder, have a Dark Wizard use Crucio on the chest to the left inside the window for the Sirius Black character token.
